Many founders are carrying a burden they never signed up for. They’re carrying every sales conversation themselves.

Their best ideas are locked inside their head, and yes, they’re brilliant, transformative, even.

However, brilliance that can’t be explained simply becomes invisible to the very people who need it most.  The Founder’s genius, and the collective genius of their team, remains hidden.

If your market doesn’t understand your genius quickly, they resist it. Not out of malice but because complexity is always contentious until it’s agreed and understood.

That’s the chokehold. It strangles sales, stalls growth, and quietly traps you in price wars you should never be fighting.

A long time ago, I realised something that drove my success for years to come, you’re not really selling your services, you’re selling your thinking.

If your thinking is unstructured to the outside world, no one else can repeat it for you - not your team, not your clients, not the market.  It can make complete sense inside your mind, but it’s how much sense it makes in the minds of others that matters.

This is why so many founders end up competing on price instead of value and why their team can’t scale their message. Their genius gets diluted, conversation after conversation and that dilution leads to commoditisation.
